What is the process to accept a student at REC?
A customized assessment test is given to all potential new students entering REC. A student is assigned a place here at REC depending on their performance from this assessment. They are placed according to their abilities regardless of their age group or current grade in school.

The entire syllabus required for each year group is completed within the academic year. This does not include any help with school homework. REC designs its own customized tests for each year group and all testings are based on the standard syllabus.

Classes vary in size depending on the year group and demand for each class.

All timings are fixed and are on a set schedule. There will be no changes made for individual students. However, REC reserves the rights to change schedule timings under compelled circumstances, such as Ramadan, etc.
Are there makeup classees for missed lessons?
There are no make-up classes for any missed lessons, however, the missed work is kept for the absent student and will be handed over when they attend their next lesson. The government requires all institutions to be closed on days, such as National Sports Day and The Independence Day of Qatar, and REC will abide these holidays for which there will be no make-up lessons.
Is there regular testing?
The frequency of testing is dependent on how much of the syllabus is covered during a particular time period. For example, after one or two units are covered it is likely for there to be a testing. Students will not be pre-informed of test dates, therefore it will be their responsibility to revise regularly.
How will be parents be kept updated on their childs progress?
Parents will be able to see the progress of their child/children from the student's performances on their school tests as well as their progress being made here at REC. Any concerns of students will be notified to parents personally by Mrs Rifqa. Appointments to see Mrs Rifqa can be made through the receptionist, however, these appointments are only made if there is a significant concern.
