The need arose to expand the only existing classroom as the number of students enrolling at REC was increasing. Hence, as a part of a summer drive, in the early years of the centre, we started a few structural changes. The expansion of the classroom was done with the help of all the students at the time, both junior and senior. Only the building was done by the professionals but the interior painting, designing, etc. was done solely by the hands of the students which to-date is sentimentally valued. Currently, the room once that used to be the only classroom is now turned into a fully-fledged library with approximately over 20,000 books from all genres.
